Anyone know how long someone should be on Keppra after a tbi?

Completely depends on the nature of the TBI. I had an acute subdural hematoma and was on Keppra for three months and was allowed to go off because my scans were "normal". That said, I did not have any seizures at any point- I was put on it as a precaution.

I guess my answer to your question would be to take it, “UNTIL!”

Like, I think you should stay on Keppra Until... it stops working. Or Until the side effects worsen. Or Until you can’t afford it. etc.

My motto with meds is, “Don’t fix it, if it’s not broken!”
