Does anyone notice a decrease in immune systems in survivors?
My husband used to NEVER get sick and if he did he could push through it. Now he gets sick all the time and it’s always way worse than if anyone else in the house gets sick. I don’t know if it’s related to the brain injury (lack of sleep, lack of ability to fight off germs as well, etc), the fact that we have kids in school now, or a combination of both.

TBI survivors immune system can be affected because the brain doesn’t work properly anymore. So far my survivor has been good, fingers crossed.
