How long does brain biofeedback take?

Some people call brain biofeedback neurofeedback. I'm told the standard is 40 to 60 sessions, or twice a week for the first 40. Does it take that long to see the effect?

I found it took 20 sessions and then all of a sudden a change occurred. A big, dramatic change. It didn't last long, and that's why you need to keep going until the change becomes permanent and you achieve your treatment goal. See for information on what it is and what it's like.
