I took Keppra and HATED the side effects, mostly emotional, just Google "Keppra rage."
I was able to switch to Briviact for seizures and the side effects are way less
My son was on Keppra, but when we transferred him to a different hospital, they took him off because the new neurologist said it was preventing him from participating in physical therapy. We discovered that to be very true. Within a couple weeks he showed great improvement.
